These terms cover the free guest Wi-Fi that SGN Golf offers at its facilities. By connecting, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the network.
What you get
Internet access as a free courtesy to guests. Without an email address you get 8 hours; with a valid email address you get 30 days on that device. We may change, suspend, or withdraw the service, or end any session, at any time and without notice.
We do not promise any particular speed, coverage, or that the service will be available or uninterrupted. Certain sites, services, or ports may be unreachable.
This is an open network — please protect yourself
Guest Wi-Fi is a shared public network. Traffic on it is not encrypted by us, and other devices connected to it may be able to see your device. Treat it as untrusted: use sites and apps that encrypt their own traffic, and avoid sending anything sensitive over it. If you need privacy from other users of the network, use a VPN.
Keeping your own device secure and backed up is your responsibility.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the network to:
- break any law, or help anyone else do so;
- infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights, including unlawful file sharing;
- send spam, or harass, threaten, defame, or abuse any person;
- access, store, or share material that is unlawful, or that is obscene or offensive in a place where other guests can see it;
- attack, scan, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, network, or other guest's device, here or elsewhere;
- interfere with the network or facility systems, or work around the sign-in, time limits, or any other control;
- resell the connection or share it beyond your own personal use.
We may suspend or block access, at our discretion, to protect guests, the network, or facility systems, or where we believe these terms have been broken.
Children
The network is unfiltered, and content on the open internet may not be suitable for children. If a child in your care uses the network, you are responsible for supervising them.
Your information
What we collect and how long we keep it is set out in our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SGN Golf is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the network — including loss of data, interception of your traffic by others on the network, or anything you download. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
